These terms cover your use of the WodBuddy apps for iOS, Android, Apple Watch and Garmin, and the services behind them. By using WodBuddy you agree to them.

Your account

You need an account to sync workouts between your phone and your watch. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, give us accurate information, and you must be at least 13 years old to use the app. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Training at your own risk

WodBuddy is a tracking tool, not a coach and not a medical device. Workouts you capture or create — including anything recognised from a whiteboard photo — are yours to judge. Recognition can be wrong: check reps, loads and rounds before you train. Talk to a doctor before starting a training programme, and stop if something hurts. You accept the risk of injury that comes with functional fitness training.

Your content

Workouts, photos and results you put into WodBuddy stay yours. You grant us the licence needed to store, process and display that content so the app can work — for example reading a whiteboard photo to build a workout, or syncing a workout to your watch. If you share a workout with a group, the people in that group can see it.

Acceptable use

• Don't reverse engineer, decompile or resell the app or its services.
• Don't upload content you have no right to share, or content that is unlawful or abusive.
• Don't attempt to break, overload or bypass our systems, rate limits or paywalls.
• Don't use the app to build a competing dataset or service.

Subscriptions and purchases

Some features require a paid plan. Purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play, and prices vary by country and are shown at the point of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancel in your Apple or Google account settings before the period ends. Refunds follow the store's policy, not ours. Lifetime or founder plans cover the app for as long as the service operates.

Availability and changes

We ship often. Features may be added, changed or removed, and watch platform support depends on hardware and operating systems we don't control. We aim to keep the service up but don't promise uninterrupted availability.

Third-party platforms

WodBuddy works alongside Apple, Google and Garmin services. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and they are not responsible for WodBuddy.

Intellectual property

The WodBuddy name, logo, app and design are ours. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app; they don't transfer ownership of anything.

Termination

You can stop using WodBuddy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, WodBuddy is provided as is, without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or injury arising from your training. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which WodBuddy is established, and disputes will be handled by its courts.
