Personal Information
When you register or subscribe to WodBuddy, we may collect:

- Payment information: billing address, credit/debit card details (processed by our payment processor)
- Profile data: profile photo, display name
Workout & Usage Data
As you use the Service, we automatically collect:
- Workout records: exercises, sets, reps, weights, durations
- Sensor data: accelerometer and gyroscope readings (for workout tracking)
- Device information: device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers
- Log data: app crashes, performance metrics, usage timestamps
Media & Images
If you provide images or screenshots of workouts:
- We process those images ephemerally to extract structured workout data.
- We do not store these images on our servers, and they are not used to train AI models by us or our providers.
Third‑Party Integrations
When you choose to link with third‑party accounts or services (e.g., Google Sign‑In, Apple Sign‑In, Garmin Connect):
- We receive basic profile information (name, email, avatar) per their OAuth scopes.
- We do not store your third‑party credentials.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide & improve the Service (sync workouts, analytics, error diagnostics)
- Authenticate your account and prevent unauthorized access
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Personalize your experience (recommended workouts, reminders)
- Communicate important updates, support requests, and promotional offers (you may opt out)
- Analyze aggregate usage patterns to enhance features and performance
- AI Provider Disclosure: We use Google Gemini to create structured workouts from images. Neither WodBuddy nor Google use these images to train AI models.
- Internal AI Training: We may use de-identified or aggregated workout data, particularly inertial sensor data (accelerometer and gyroscope), to train our internal machine learning models to improve our services. This data is not shared with third parties and is processed in a way that does not personally identify you.
3. How We Share Your Information
We will never sell your personal data. We may share information:
- With service providers who perform functions on our behalf (payment processors, hosting, analytics) under strict confidentiality obligations
- For legal reasons if required by law, regulation, or to protect our rights, safety, or property
- With your consent or at your direction
4. Data Retention
We retain personal and workout data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Upon account deletion, we anonymize or delete your personal data within 60 days, except where retention is required by law.
